The ordinary damping plate structure shown in FIG. 1 is composed of a base plate 1 which may be of steel or aluminum, and the damping material 2 on the base plate which may be of asphalt, rubber, etc. The problem with this conventional plate is that the deformation of damping material is insufficient, the energy dissipation is very poor, and only the damping material near the base plate dissipates the energy during its deformation.
[0003] Content of the present invention For the problems of the state of the art, the object of the invention is to provide a negative Poisson's ratio damping plate, thanks to the structure of the damping plate, such so that the material is sufficiently deformed, and the dissipation of energy by vibration is sufficient. The technical scheme of the present invention is such that a plate on the basis of a negative Poisson-Poisson structure comprises a base plate and a damping structure. The negative Poisson's ratio structure is fixed on the base plate, the cross section of the structure has a plurality of holes, a plurality of holes are also formed between the structure and the plate and a damping material is a filling in said holes. The cross-section of the negative Poisson-weight structure includes, but is not limited to, several structural forms: In a first mode, the cross-section of said negative Poisson-weight structure is honeycomb shaped, that is, the honeycomb defines said holes. In a second mode, the cross-section of said negative Poisson-Poisson structure is in the form of a grid, that is to say that the grid defines said holes. In a third mode, two groups of cell structures intertwine to form the cross-section of said negative Poisson-Poisson structure, which cellular structures define said holes. Said base plate is made of steel or aluminum (can be any material or structure), and said damping material is rubber or asphalt (can also be other buffering materials). In comparison with the existing technique, the invention has the following advantages: By using the auxetic compression deformation characteristics of the damping plate on the basis of a negative Poisson's ratio structure, the deformation of the structure permits to the material away from the base plate to have sufficient deformation, so that the damping material is used fully, the effect of dissipation of the vibration energy is also improved, and the vibration characteristics of the damping plate are clearly optimized. Normally, a material has a positive Poisson's ratio, that is, if the material is longitudinally stretched, there is contraction in a transverse dimension. If when a material is longitudinally stretched, the transverse dimension increases, this material is a negative Poisson-weight material. The invention is based on this characteristic of negative Poisson-weight material. It can be seen in FIG. 2, FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 that, according to the invention, the damping plate comprises a base plate 1 and a damping material 2.
